MEET COACHING TEAM
HEAD COACH: Joe Smith
Coach Smith started playing lacrosse in 7th grader in Vienna, VA and continued through high school where his team won the Washington, D.C. league title three years in a row. Since moving to California, Coach Smith has been an active member in the Orange County lacrosse community. He has volunteered with several lacrosse clubs where he coached both field and box lacrosse teams. In 2019/2020 he served as the assistant coach for Dana Hills. Coach Smith and looks forward to working Coach Hoeger and Coach Bryan in leading the Dana Hills program for the 2022/2023 season.
ASSISTANT COACH: Carl Hoeger
Lacrosse has always been a part of Coach Hoeger's life. His lacrosse career started at age 7 and he has been playing and coaching ever since. He started on his high school varsity team four years as a mid-fielder and lead the team in points his junior and senior years. In addition, he coached youth lacrosse throughout high school and college.
ASSISTANT COACH: Sam Bryan
Coach Bryan has extensive experience in lacrosse as both a player and coach. He played college lacrosse at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has also coached with various teams. He has significant game knowledge and is particularly skilled at building players' defensive skills.
